That's what I'd suggest.

Not all cards can reach those clocks of 1280Mhz-1320Mhz. The few I have seen are hitting 1250Mhz at tops, with the odd exception going over that. This is not to take away anything from the GTX 770 but the price difference from a 770 and a 680 just looks poor. By all means OP, look at game benchmarks and then decide smile.gif

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-nvidia-geforce-gtx-770-review

This shows the 770 to be less than 5% faster than a 680 and the 770 to be upto 20% faster than a 670.

Plenty of reading but I am sure we have all given you enough info to help you choose smile.gif

Thats what I would do but you will likely find you dont need to sli to make use of a 120hz in most games.

The max overclock is irrelevant. A single gtx770 is a solid card and more than enough for a single 1080 60hz monitor even at bone stock. A ton of guys in the 770 thread reach 1300mhz and the memory oc over the 680 is good too with most guys at least getting 7500mhz. But its true not all cards hit 1300mhz, I have not seen one do less than 1245mhz though. The 770 has an advantage over the 680 not only because of extra voltage (1.175 vs 1.212) but because the boost 2.0 does not throttle the card at 70c which was the biggest pain with my 670ftw.

With the 770 going for $400us its worth it unless you already have a 680.
