Can Only Boot into Windows Through Bios

Thread Starter
Just installled a new motherboard, Asus M5A99FX, had trouble doing a fresh install of Windoows 7, I had to click on the DVD drive, after each restart during Windows installation, in the bios boot order menu in order to get Windows to load off the DVD. I set the boot order with the DVD drive as the first boot device and ssd as the second boot device, but the computer would just stop at the screen that prompts you to enter the bios.
Now after getting Windows installed, when turning the computer on or restarting, the computer continues to stop at the sceen that prompts you to enter the bios. Windows loads after the bios is entered, boot order is selected and the ssd is clicked on.
What am I doing wrong?

Many thanks In Advance

You may have it set in the bios to go to the bios before booting

Just in case you haven't seen this http://www.overclock.net/t/1156654/seans-windows-7-install-optimization-guide-for-ssds-hdds

It's a very nice/complete "how to" list if you feel you may have questions about your install using a UEFI bios.

Thanks for the feedback and help, after doing some research, I installed the latest bios, and the problem was solved. The boot LED on the mother board was coming on and a couple other people had very similar but not exact problems with their motherboards, and a bios flash solved their problems.
