If only there were a smaller, better looking cable that could deliver even more power...oh, it would be nice if it were reversible too, wouldn't it?

It's not a big deal because how often are you unplugging then reconnecting the micro USB portion of the cable to your hard drive? Hardly ever is my guess.

It's not "just a cable" when it's something you touch everyday.

I honestly don't see the problem here. It's a bit wider, what's the big deal?

Have to laugh at people heaping praise on Apple for their slower, less functional proprietary interconnects. Stockholm syndrome, anyone?

wait, so a more secure connector, universal cable support, more current, faster transfer speeds, faster charging, and still compact! Done deal! I'm in.

Stupid cable that no one really supports and rarely seen on laptops? Count me out. Lightning cable was dead before it even started. The cable is merely there to connect apple devices and could never compete with a Universal Serial Bus. smile.gif

i plug mine every time i connect it to my computer and unplug after use.

it would be stupid to leave it plugged during transportable as it would damage the plug and i certainly dont have an issue with the plug

if anything the plug is an improvement over existing micro USB2 as its easily to get it right when plugging it even but feel alone. plugging direction is even more obvious

if you are complaining about the fact its not uni direction then you have other issues to worry about ie using your brain for once

Stop complaining; there is nothing wrong with this cable.

I swear, the next person to complain about this cable, I don't understand how you could wake up in the morning if this cable bothers you that much. Just do us all a favour and not touch technology; it's too much of a burden on your life. And, to be frank, the iPhone4S and prior had an even larger cable; how many people do you see complaining about that one? Oh wait...

No way I would wear that thing. I'd use it for plugging in my mobile devices, though. Though it's not reversible, USB 3.0 looks a bit easier to quickly orient than 2.0.
