Help choosing between Receivers

Hi,
I had a Klipsch Pro Media 5.1 speaker setup running through a Creative X-Fi Extreme Gamer all in analog.
The Pro Media amp is starting to sound like thunder so I guess the amp is going out.
I thought I would save my speakers which to me sound pretty good and the sub-woofer and get a 5.1 receiver.
I was looking at these three

Yamaha RX-V371

Onkyo TX-SR313

Pioneer VSX-522-K

I also have to get the Dolby Digital Live and DTS Connect Pack from Creative and this

Toslink to Mini Digital Optical SPDIF Audio Cable

So I hoping you can tell me if this will work and which receiver is better,
I'm leaning to the Pioneer because on Creative's website one of the notes says that the receiver has to decode Dolby Digital Live and DTS.
The other receivers say the decode Dolby Digil HD and DTS HD
I use these mainly for gaming.
Thanks

Thanks,
I started reading about using HDMI to connect the audio after reading your response.
Sounds like the way to go there, and I found some reviews of the Yamaha, they were mostly good unlike the Pioneer.
I couldn't find any for the Onkyo so I guess I'm all set.
Thanks
