losing system time on the bios? or losing time in windows?

if in windows, right click the time in the bottom right corner
click "adjust time and date"
then make sure you have the correct time zone set.

what could be happening is that you could have the wrong time zone set and when windows automatically syncs with "time.windows.com" (in the internet time tab) it would change it back to the correct time for the set time zone
