Going from Q9450 to QX9770 worth it?

Thread Starter
I have a older computer running a Q9450 at 3.55Ghz and the motherboard supports up to a QX9770. Would the upgrade be worth it? What kind of overclocking should I expect and which stepping should I look for C0 or C1?

Thanks

Not worth it at all.The 15% more performance won't be much for the money you will spend. . ALSO Why do you still use the old LGA 775 ? you can get an i5 or i7 with double the performance with the same price or lower.

Why not going with a i7 860 ?because it is newer and your mobo can limit your ocing for the q9770x bus speed
