Hybrid HDD - Page 8

So I ordered one of these sshd's last week (still not here). I bought the 2TB 7200 sshd - I needed the space and it was a great deal for the potential to perform better than a regular HDD. I have absolutely no expectations that it will outperform (or even be on par with) my SSD, but if it can outperform my current HDD I will be more than happy!

Also I plan to use this SSHD for game storage, not OS. What can I expect for performance compared to a regular HDD and an SSD?

Also would it be beneficial use an additional SSD for even extra cache on this SSHD?

I found an article online that has some benching and a review. Doesn't look too shabby:

If the test is real, this desktop version of sshd is very powerful even if the review shows in a very ideal situation like running Word 20 times first before doing the test.
