To start off I am on my xbox so pardon me if I misspell

I am looking at buying a motherboard for a AZZA Genesis 9000. I have only the cpu (477k) and Ram for it(GSKILLZ 2133). I have waited for a whole year to build my Gaming pc because money constraints and timing. I plan on buying a Geforce 780 or if possible a 3gb 770 that i can OC with. I am planing on buying whats left of what im missing in NOVEMBER AND liquid cool it.

Cuurently seeing the Maximus VI Formula just came out...I havent seen any Reviews on it but it was my #1 pick so far even tho the HERO seems just like it in performence as well as the GD65

What do you think by NOVEMBER the best MOBO for OC and Gaming will be ...Thoughts

My no compromise go to board for Z87 is UD3H. For the price you get a lot except slightly more limited fan control than GD65 or Hero. You can pay extra for UD4H if you want it in red and doubled phase count.

Then there are ASRock Z87 Exterme4 and Biostar HiFi Z87X that are also great values for the money but without few features here and there.

Also FYI there is no such thing as gaming board. It's mostly marketing trying to sell some gimmick features for an extra cost. The only benefit of "gaming" boards is that some of these boards have better audio, but given the price difference you can often get a better dedicated solution by going with a cheaper board.

They all easy. They just have slighly different approaches. And all these boards will OC about the same since they have capable VRMs. But Asus and Gigabyte have the best followed by MSI.
