would you choose the sapphire dual x (3L) over Gigabyte Winforce 7950? The Dual-X (2L) is discontinued

Well... If I had the room for the 11.5 inch card from gigabyte I would have probably thought about it since it comes clocked at 1000mhz/5500mem vs the sapphire's boost 925/5000 and the cooling is better but its more expencive and consumes more power. Although I'm pretty sure you can overclock them both at same speeds and get the same performance.

It comes down to looks, (Both having the horrible, ugyly blue pcb), cooling and price.

Cooling goes for gigabyte, price for Sapphire. As for the PCB...Check this out. biggrin.gif

they actually are the exact same price right now which is why I am considering both.

Blue PCB actually matches my Blue G Skill RAM and I have the Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 which is brush aluminum and Black.
