Hi Long Road
Paid for my Case Lab cases today S3 matte Black no Pedestal and S5 with a pedestal and I requested an other quote on Freight Im going to also make a S5 Pedestal into a sever with a mini ITX mother board and fitting a couple of 3 in 5 hot swaps into the side and as this pedestal comes with power supply cut out Ill mount the mini ITX mother board on a S3 which Ive also ordered and fit it along side the power supply I am making it a headless sever and running Team viewer on it . Ill strip out my Liam li Q25 ans mount it in the Pedestal . I'm running a Silver Stone ST 450 SF SFX ( the smaller PSU's) Ill have to calculate to see if its big enough to run 10 hard drives but I only have five running at the moment so it will do.
So I only need one hole to pass a Ethernet cable through the end of Ill drill where the second PSU plate is mounted and fit it with a Rubber Grommet Ill add some nice low feet to the Pedestal and
then mount a S5 Case top to it and place it in front of me with my monitor on top I can then run my movies and music through out the house and use it to down load the Might just buy an old case with the 5.25 drive bays and mod it to suit the Pedestal worst this Il have to cut one side of the pedestal to have my Icy box hot swaps fitting There slightly longer but for now thought Id add some aluminum square tube to the other side the back in this case to extend the width a little and then put the side cover back on Maybe once it all together he migfht add it to CL shopping cart as it would not need many extra pieces to make than they already have just a mod for 5.25 bays in a pedestal and there done other than a L bracket to mount a mini ITX mobo tray upsidedwnsmiley.gif
I Have a High point sata card already here that Im not using a spare PSU and mobo and I'm waiting for warranty on some Ram, only need a extra CPU and as its only a down loader and media sever it can be small only have to buy two hot swap 5 into 3s and a CPU and a bit of time. Im looking forward to this build just want to make sure the fascia panel looks good when I'm finished thumb.gif

Should be getting stamped folded and Matte Black this coming week
Been busy collecting parts in my build Draw
Alpha cool 280 UT60 for 1 for the S5 Pedestal
Alpha Cool 360 UT 60 for 1 for the S5 the Pedestal
Alpha Cool Repack D5 Dual bay station Res for the S5 Pedestal
Aquacomputer Aquaero 6 leaving Germany in a 8 days for the S5 Pedestal
Temp sensors to suit
I have a Corsair AX860
And I'm going to cheat with the cabling so as I'm using a Gigabyte Sniper M5
I purchased the Corsair Green sleeving kit and shorten the PSU ends to suit the build
https://www.google.com.au/search?q=Corsair+Gen2+Green+Sleeved+Modular+Cable+Kit+images&client=firefox-beta&hs=c6G&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&channel=rcs&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=D2I-UtK7LK2aiQfRs4HgDw&sqi=2&ved=0CCwQsAQ&biw=2560&bih=976&dpr=1
I found if you use a Lamptron pin removal kit
http://www.lamptron.com/product/modding/modding-tool-kit/
and to remove the corsair pins use the single Lampton removal tool first which helps push the molex pin keepers in and then screw on the Molex pin removal tool and the pin comes out really easy so today Ive removed all the pin from the PSU end of the 24 pin cable ( 1 x 10 pin plug and 1 x 18 pin plug) Ill pick up the other corsair green kit Monday and do the same as this build will replace our desk top "Her indoors" would be a little psst off if the PC is out of service to long so Ill use a Asus rampage gene v( the 24 and 8 Pin are in the same position as the sniper) I have to make the cable lengths once the the S5 lands in OZ via Fed express (thanks to CL)
I have to have ever thing ready and just swap out the mother board(sniper M5) and SSD out of the sliver stone FT03 that its in.
The S3 will be a different story be buying MDPC sleeving and taking my time upsidedwnsmiley.gif
Thank you so much Long Road for you PM advice helped heaps.
