Go Into Safe mode.

Now go Into Admin tools under control panel and go to Events...When this window open Click on System. Here you should see a red Exclamation mark..Double click on it and it will tell you the problem.

However when installing Drivers make sure there the 64bit versions and that you used Driver cleaner first .

use nvidia's 64 bit drivers and see what happens. re-install windows.

Yea, try the nvidia x64 drivers. It's almost definitely a driver problem. windows xp x64 has lots of those (but I'm sure you know that xD)
