Thread Starter
Just ran Metro Last Light and NO crashes~ And you know what this is off topic but I noticed gameplay is ALOT more smoother with 1 gpu instead of 2! I dont have as high FPS but the games feel ALOT faster in essence if that makes any sence to you guys? Iam wondering if possibly this damm cpu cant run both of these cards or my psu dosent have enough juice, what do you guys think? Fx 6100 and cooler master gx series 750 watt bronze psu. And dual 6970s of course
Crysis 2 is either freezing or crashing, there seems to be no fix for that game! Unlike part 1 you can download a patch like bin-32 or something I think it was called on account it couldnt run in 64 bit only 32 bit!~ I dont know who to be pissed at Steam or ea~ Beacuse the boxed version of crysis 2 i use to have ran perfectly fine of 2 radeon 6570s in crossfire, i never even froze once~ Maybe the 6570s were faster then my 6970s lol?

Yeah Crysis 2 is a major pain in the ass I dont know what to do with that game, In part 1 I had download some kind of patch in order to get it to work even on Steam!

I can't say I've had any issues with Crysis 2, perhaps there is a property for that one game that got changed? Any tags on the end the launch file name in the Steam folder?

How Steam got set to Vista...I have no clue. All I know is that sometime last week it just happened to me. At least you were running in SP3...I was set to Vista SP1. I thought about opening a ticket with Steam on it, but if this ever happens again I will know right away what is wrong. So I don't really think it worth their time. To be honest I am sort of glad I was not the only one this happened to. Makes me less concerned about the functionality of my own system.

Though both of us might benefit from a Steam re-install just to be on the safe side.
