I would wait and see how things turn out in practice. Far too many unknowns at the moment to start fussing over the VRAM size on your cards.
But yes, hypothetically speaking, if the game wants 2600MiB for it's textures, for example, on the most demanding map with the highest texture quality, you would probably need to upgrade to a part with more VRAM in order for the absolute best experience possible.
Well put. Going to start working some extra hours now... maybe if worse comes to worse ill upgrade to a really strong single card and if not ill just spend that money on something else then.
I'd love to try AMD but im using 120hz Lightboost right now. I think ill stay with NVidia. Thanks for the suggestion though!
