I had another Power Color card a while back and remember it being a solid card. This was one of the best priced best reviewed 7950's I could find. Also I liked the TF3 I have but wasn't overly impressed with it. So I wanted to try something different.

According to raghu, did you find the better one now?

You made the right choice.

I switched from 6950 CF (TFIII) to a Gigabyte 7950.
Realistically and in practice, the 7950 is a better option 80% of the time. Dual GPU in my experience is just a hassle half the time and when it does work its never as good as you hope.
There are a couple exceptions where the scaling was amazing, but for the most part 7950 > 6950 CF.
