For a HDD I'd get a Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB Hard Disk Drive with Perpendicular Recording Technology ($80). Everything else looks good.

Good Luck!

Thanks guys and I've only overclocked my gfx card before so I'm not sure. Doesn't overclocking reduce the lifetime?

Yes and no. It won't really have any negative effects on your equipment if you do it right and follow common sense. Just ask around; these boards are build upon the gathered knowledge of avid overclockers.

Not really, Conores can get 2.5GHz out of the stock Heatsink Fan if applied correctly, if you spend $20 you can get Sandpaper (Grit 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1500, and 2000) plus Arctic Silver 5. Then, you can lap the HSF (Heatsink Fan), finally, apply some Arctic Silver 5 then see how far you can go!

Better cooling. That is one of the extra requirements (or drawbacks) of overclocking. Depending on how far and aggressive you want to overclock, you may have to invest in some heavy cooper heatsinks or even go with water. It depends.
