Why my lenovo thinkpad x230 boot to login screen within 5 seconds with windows 8?

I check and it is just a 7200rpm hdd, and seem like lenovo doesn't have quick boot stuff for windows 8, why is it so fast?

It comes with this hdd 500gb version, I cannot see it is that fast:

1. It's windows 8 and loads up the drivers after bootup

2. It's probably got nothing on it so the hard drive isn't bogged down with useless data.

3. Might have an SSD caching drive which is rather common nowadays

how can I check if there is ssd caching?

It'll probably be in your device manager at a guess...
