Which monitor to get under US$ 180 ?

Does anyone have good monitors (17' or 19') that I could get for under 180$ ? Here, the Acer are quite popular, but are they good ? Any better I could find ?

Okay.. LCD 101! Lol.

Reponse Time: With CRT, its measured in nanoseconds. In this case with LCDs, its done in Milliseconds. 8ms is acceptable to have but I'd say you should get 5ms minimum.
Contrast Ratio: Done in ratios of like 300:1, 500:1. 1000:1 and etc. There is no standarized way of testing this so dont believe some really high number. It pretty much means how black your blacks are going to be. So if its like 10000:1, you're doin good! 700:1 is acceptable but once again, there is no standarized way of testing this so take each number with a grain of salt.
