Spilled half a glass of water on my Razer Blackwidow Ultimate

Thread Starter
So I just spilled about half a glass of water on my Razer Blackwidow ultimate, I immediately unplugged it and turned it upside down to drain the water and removed all the keys and blow dried it for about 5 mins. Then I put the keys back on and plugged it in but the lights arent turning on and it does not work at all. Will it be okay if I wait a few hours or what? Is there anything else I can do? Or is the whole thing just gone.

It will take a while to dry naturally and it may corrode since it's water so you could rinse it with alcohol. You can always take it apart and dry the board out and the pop off the keys to dry the switches.

I spilled 1/4 can of Monster in mine and didn't unplug it for a min. so I gave it a bath, dried it out and it's still working. Since you only spilled water it should be okay if it wasn't left plugged in that long.

same thing happened to me only I spilt grape fanta
I was lucky my k-95 didn't break, I just took all the keys off, wiped the switches down with water and a little sugar soap.
I took the back off and was lucky none had leaked into the PCB board

I was lucky I avoided a broken keyboard and sticky keys
