Buy watercooling for FX or go Intel? - Page 3

I d recommend the 8320 as well for what its worth. That is in my wife's rig at 4.9ghz with an H220 and a Alphacool 120/60mm thick rad and it does quite nicely at 1080p. The 7950 is in the loop as well. I have a 3930K@4.5ghz and in single threaded apps mine might shine a little but it is really unnoticeable. For the money I d do her set up over and over. If Steamroller ends up being the same socket then it will just make the decision even better.

There is no Steamroller as of right now. AMD is pretty much switching over to FM2 and their APU platform.

The expandability is only an option that I might never ever use, my HD 7850 is cool even at full 1.1GHz. The reason I opt for Swiftech is ability to change tubing if needed. At my country I could get RayStorm 750 RS240 cheaper than H320 and about the same price as H220. The Raystorm D5 kit is bloody expensive, for that price I rather sell my current motherboard + CPU, add those money and can get a Core i7 4770k + Maximus VI Hero for it.
