Sound upgrade

So im looking to upgrade my computer audio experence, currently i have the altec lansing gt5051 and i need more power, exp more bass
ive found some home theater "kits" and was wondering if its possable to hook them up to your computer.

like thies 1k watts for 200bucks...that seems like one hell of a deal but could i make it work? http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1134704163528

For sound card, im getting a xfi also
