Seconded. I actually really enjoyed GW2, right until I got to max level. I did a bit of WvW, but mostly there was just a feeling of 'This is it?' and I drifted away from it pretty quickly after that.

One of the reasons I played WoW for so long was that it had a rich and engaging endgame from the very beginning. I've been burned on other games a couple of times since, but I'm willing to take a risk that the folks at Carbine carried forward the same mentality and approach to game design that brought MC, BWL, and the like. It definitely feels like it so far, and I'm excited about the return to 40-man raiding in particular.

So for anyone that pre-ordered the game.. are you looking forward to the bonus beta weekend?

I was kinda hoping they would give some.keys out but none are to be found.. so it seems only pre-orders..

What's the deal with weekend access? What limitations are imposed for those who just drop the dosh for a preorder rather than gaining access through having a higher level toon?

I only put a few different toons to level 10-20 during winter beta

Hey, guys.
Nice to see some attention's been gathering for this game; I gave up on checking it months ago biggrin.gif

So, what's the verdict? Buying or not buying? Day-one purchase or are you going to wait until the inevitable demise of the business model and wait for it to go F2P?

Buy.

I.

Infact I perordered the Delux edition and will be paying for a full year sub outright. I am absolutely stoked and im a stingy picky little snot when it comes to MMORPGs.

I don't think the game is going to have a failing pay model, it has too much going for it under its business scheme right now that's positive for players, the company and the game's income.

The game makes up the ground that other games are missing, brings in something new and great without forgetting other aspects, and it provides an experience that unlike the vast majority of MMORPGs returns to the classic days where there wasn't a reward for partispation, but instead a it challenges you and if you succeed you feel like you've succeeded, and when you fail, you feel like you've failed.
the game is well designed, difficult, fast paced and refined.

I've not been this excited for an MMORPG since Prius online back in 2011, and I was helping import that game.

I also pre - ordered and can't wait for the game to come out. I know it will probably still be pretty buggy at launch, but have high hopes for the game.

Has anyone here tried it out with the logitech g600 or naga? If so, how do you like it? I just picked both up and can't wait to test them both this weekend.

I play with the naga epic

Here's my base layout for WildStar on my naga epic

If you want the best results, learn to use Naga Movement for WildStar.
