From what I can tell from your laptops build (base model) you have the specs to play all inteded games on the highest setting possible. To me, it sounds like you have more or less slow internet. To test your speed visit this website. this
While gaming I would highly recommend you have a direct connection to your router. Wireless has so many variables to as of how much quality you are going to get from your internet. These variables can be terminated by just directly connecting.
You also have a Nvidia GPU. Some of the Nvidia cards have forced anti aliasing. Forced AA sometimes conflicts with games, I would go into the Nvidia driver control program and disable AA. You might want to also disable any anti-virus during online play, I know some people get anti-virus JUST for online gaming and the likes, however, once again you are adding more variables to your connection that could hinder your possibilities.
Terminating unused processes via Task Manager could free up some allocation space allowing your resources to be more directed to the game itself. Just be careful you don't delete anything you need or the system needs.
