If that is your concern, then I'd go for the evga hydrocopper. You'll end up paying the same for the ek, the ek is just better built.

Just get the EVGA GTX 780 Hydrocopper http://amzn.to/14RNG51 or even better the Classified version http://amzn.to/14RNHpA I wouldn't get a custom block if there is a card already made with the block installed.
