Windows 7 Locking Up

It started with BSOD's. Now my computer just feezes up and doesn't go anywhere after about 45 minutes of use. I tested the memory with memtest, all good, primary drive tested with chkdsk and seatools. Possibly could be my motherboard since when I bought it a year ago 2 of the DIMM slots didn't work, maybe its affecting the ones im using now??

Anyways,

i5 2500k
8gb ddr3 corsair vengence 1600
asrock z68 extreme 4 gen 3
gtx 680
corsair 750w psu

You're probably right about the motherboard. If it already had issues, it is likely the culprit.

Thanks for the reply. I was starting to worry about my gfx card being the issue but I don't think thats it. I'm going to purchase a mobo later this week and find out.
