Today during a little gaming session my pc froze solid, mind you I was running everything at stock clocks the ram was set 10 12 12 31 @ 1.65v. I try to reboot my pc and I get the q-code 55, I then removed all my ram chips, Gskill Trident X 2400 cl10 4X4 and they felt surprisingly warm to the touch but 1 was considerably hotter than the others. I placed each chip back in 1 by 1 and finally found the one that was considerably hotter was dead, q-code 55 with that chip only. I have never had a Gskill chip fail on me before, I hope there RMA service is good and the turn around is quick, unfortunately I don't have any spare chips so my pc will be down during the process mad.gif
