If the original heatsinks didnt cover the VRM's it isnt necessary.

But if you plan to increase the GPU Voltage, it might be smart because they will heat up fast then.

On the otherhand,
If you put heatsinks on them, so they operate at a lower temprature, it can be the GPU Core receives a bit higher/more stable voltage and allowing for a little bit higher overclock

Yes it are the 4 flat black squares on the left, and the 1 black square in the upper right corner.

(The 4 on the left side are probably to feed the gpu core, and the 1 in the right corner is for the gpu memory)

And the RAM Heatsinks look like they are perfectly placed
