Setting up the corsair 900D - Page 2

After reading a few threads about this most people recommended not using an exhaust config. for your rads since it would pull hot air from inside the case through your radiators and thus defeating the purpose of rads.
If that's the case you would benefit from having the top rad pulling fresh air into the case.

I hope others can discuss their experience about this.

Yes, i guess it is preferred to have the rads as intakes... but it is not always easy to do this whilst keeping a good airflow. The preferred direction of airflow is front to back, bottom to top. It is difficult to design a nice airflow with 2 rads. A good airflow is needed to keep the rest of the components cool too.

I have two suggestions:

I like option one as it will give cold feed to your rad (which is kind of important).

I just got my 900D and will be setting it up later tonight.

I was thinking of doing front top and sides as intake, seeing as how the entire back panel of the case is practically open with the type of grill they used. Don't think actual fans will be needed to suck the air out. Should help to keep dust out too, since all the fans have dust filters.
