... yeah , i bet the game doesnt have "your" end game

Well as it is, you can do all the current "end game" content wearing lv35 greens. And farming up bigger items is meaningless as there's no PvP or harder content that would require them.

Once you beat Heroic mode of a raid ONCE in WoW, what is the point in still doing it every week?

Nothing really, but the point is that actually takes time and progression. FF14 has nothing like that atm.

You complain about this. Yet WOW does the same bloody thing. Piece meal you your raids. Let's look back a few years at Wrath..How many patches did we have to wait for to complete ICC? How many patches to catch the raids for Cata? I didn't play Kung Fu Panda expansion but I bet they didn't release everything in a single release.

The game has alot to offer those who have gotten Max level. You can also work on Subclasses, and crafting skills. Work on your grand company ranking, collect grand company gear, help your FC collect supplies for next patch when housing releases.

Just because there are not Heavy party raids on week 3 does not mean the game is bad. It's the same bloody thing WOW has been doing for over 8 years. Yet you continue to sing their praise. Don't misunderstand I'm super excited to raid, but I'm not so impatient that I cannot wait 5 weeks for them to polish the content and make it worth my time. If you want to "rush rush rush" everything go play Tera, Rift, GW2 and once you've level capped all those in 3-8 days each, and do all the raiding come back. I'm sure those games will satisfy your appetite for content.

Yea, I think you're correct on this.

I don't think you can put GW2 and Rift in the same group as Tera. Both Rift and GW2 are good games in my book.

FFXIV seems quite interesting for me so far. I've played only to level 30 though, but seems like a game I could play. Can't wait for PvP to go live smile.gif

Slow down there honcho, I'm not praising anything. I get you're a ff14 fanboi but you need to realize there's nothing to do if you're not a casual player.
And 14 is far from a "3 week" old game, they rehashed TONS of content from 1.0 and at this point there's no excuse for there being 0 end-game.

Tera just could not figure out what it wanted to be. That, and I felt that questing was rather ill planned. Almost like they took a blown up zone map, pinned it to a wall and threw colored darts representing mobs, and quest hubs. I greatly enjoyed the freeflow combat, however the "custom" rotation option fell short. It was simply a rotation predetermined by the devs which to me sucked.

I liked the game, it just was unplayable after 30 or so levels. I still like it, just refuse to play it tongue.gif

Well, actually got to level 60 with 2 friends of mine, and shortly after helped my girlfriend to get to max level. It's kind of a mixed ball. Leveling is fine when you're with friends, but alone it can be quite boring I guess.

So when we reached 60 we started doing some battlegrounds, a couple of dungeons, but in the end, the game is just about grinding mats to craft your gear. And I'm no fan of expensive random enchanting. It go quite dull and extremely repetitive. We quit, and now she would really like to play Wildstars. No luck on getting a beta key yet though O_o

Played Rift as well for a while, it was good. GW2 I never reached max level. I think FFXIV could be the game for me though, we'll see!

I'm certainly no fanboy. I kinda laugh that you're so "offended" that you need to resort to insulting someone right now. You cannot even have a mature debate without trying to insult someone with silly names? Hilarious, it shows our points are hitting home.

But let's be real. The amount of rehash was fairly limited. They reworked alot of base level system, and switched up alot of what was terrible about 1.0 and updated it to flow better. Not saying basic ideas didn't get reused as you can only "improve" apon systems so much.

I am pretty confident most lv50's will say there is plenty to do. I've listed off a fair chunk, yoi has listed off other activities and objectives, but yet you insist there is "nothing". If you feel that way, you're more than welcome to leave. If you've managed to complete "everything" I applaud your dedication, and point you towards the door. As we won't miss someone who cannot calmly wait 5 weeks for the next content update to release and provide us with all the raiding and events we can handle for a while. But, you will likely power through that as well. So I suggest you take a break for a year or two, and return in 2015. So there is enough content to satisfy a power leveler and highly dedicated and motivated player such as yourself.
