For a single card, it won't bottleneck. Bottleneck will occur more likely on two or more GPU setups as the bandwidth has to be split for each card.

How much are your budget? Makes it easier for us to give you advice biggrin.gif If you have plenty of cash i would go intel but im hardcore amd enthusiast myself so i stick at amd. Or if you want to have fun my advice is to go for a fx8350 and a decent watercooling sytem and aim for the magical 5ghz limit!

Read some more about your current rig, i am suggesting to get nvdia gtx660 sli and a fx8350 and if you have cash a custom waterloop else like a aio watercooler like corsair h100i. with that cooler and a good cpu you can reach 5ghz stable. I am running sli gtx660´s and fx8350@4.8ghz and comparing like 3dmark and such my rig is better then alot of high end gpu´s and cheaper. And your psu is strong enuff for a gtx 660 sli!

if i was to upgrade your system OP i would set a budget first

if money is no problem i would grab a 8350/8320 w/ a 7950 since the cards are bang for your buck right now ... otherwise wait another month and grab a 9950/70 which are rumoured to be 10-20% quicker than the 7950/70

also i would like to know what psu you are using?
