Higher OC?

Thread Starter
For christmas, my parents bought me a Zalman 9700 and a Silverstone fm121. After installing them they brought my E6600 idle temps (at 3.0ghz) down 12C and load down 20C. So I decided to OC it a little more... Right now it is at 3.6ghz and idles at 28C!!!!! (thank you Zalman), and maxes out at 50C. Do you think I can make it to 3.8? Currently the vcore is at 1.37 after vdroop (1.4 before).

Sounds like you might be able to. Getting 3.8 on air isn't easy. Going for it shouldn't hurt anything.

I'm looking forward to hearing your results.
