How do you figure someone would have to upgrade several times a year to make sense out of owning this phone? Perhaps someone has all the storage they need, the screen resolution is already beyond noticing pixels, the camera is adequate, but they just need the latest processor to play the latest and greatest games and to run the latest version of the OS as smoothly and snappy as possible. This is actually one of the biggest reason people upgrade their phones. As games and OSs become more advanced, phones become sluggish and almost downright unusable.
Not only that, people can own a phone tailored to their wants and needs more than ever before with such a modular system.
I have to admit that I'm not a fan of going a stop backwards when it comes to size and slimness, but this would be a great solution for many.
