Yeah, it most likely was.

On another note, 2 of my 4 ram slots aren't working, so I have to run my 2 x 4 GB sticks in single channel :-/

Be sure you have the proper bios settings for the ram. I bought an FX8120 on release in October 2011* (oops put wrong year) and also my current 8320 on release day. If you need any assistance with overclocking you can visit the FX club in my sig or send me a private message if you like. Glad you got it working though! Overclock that baby to at least 4.5GHz and you will be a happy camper.

OC'ing as we speak! I think I may have it at 4.5 at stock voltage (1.392)!

Going to run p95 for ten minutes and see if any cores fail...

EDIT: No cores failed, but it did reach its thermal limit and shut down :-/
