That's a shame you think that about Novatech, I've always had exceedingly good tech support and customer service is matched by no one

you are lucky then m8

portsmouth are horrible and the sales guys are not clued up on the hardware at all and just want to do sales... it gets me up so much.also then the razer black adder mouse is they have is also the old version but the same price as the new version and the new version is almost 50% better

also the one laptop i have has had endless troubbles... the one wireless card i bought has never worked.... i jsut give up... i only go if it is urgent now.

That's a shame you've had such bad experiences, everyone has different luck with different manufacturers. Like some people ACTUALLY have a good experience with DELL! tongue.gif

For a gaming laptop I would recommend this:

MSI GT70 2OC-053AU

The specs is something like this:

Processor model HSW Core i7-4700MX

OS Win8 Multi-language

Screen size 17.3" Full HD (1920x1080) LED backlight, Anti-glare

RAM 8GB 1600MHz; 4 SODIMMs slots, upgradable to 32GB

Hard Disk 750GB SATA

Optical Drive: Bluray Combo

Graphic Card Nvidia GeForce GTX 770M 3GB GDDR5

Of course the dragon version of this is a lot better but is a lot expensive as well so I guess this will already get the job doe for your gaming needs.

Based on MSI and Sager [the more expensive one]

MSI: http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/notebooks/SkyFireIII/

Sager: http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/notebooks/vortexIV-17/

I threw a quick build of a i7 4800m [2.7-3.7GHz], 780m 4GB, 8GB RAM, 750GB 7200rpm HDD and better thermal paste: Sager £1530 and MSI £1455. Both include VAT.
