Taste doesn't really mean anything to the media. The first Mass Effect contained scenes of "rape" and "sodomy" and it was pretty much a full on sex simulator according to the media.
It's really just that it's not a big deal anymore.
Honestly, violence in video games is a bigger deal to the media than sex in video games is currently. It's something that still pops up all the time especially when kids commit violent crimes such as the recent incident with the 8 year old shooting his grandma.

And in regards to the content label being M for mature. That is like putting rated R on a movie with unsimulated sex...not going to happen. Plus look how many idiot parents bring their kids to rated R movies...LOL especially TED. But I dont see too many parents walking in with minors to an adult movie theatre.
Seriously...there is a difference. game or not.
Why are you playing GTA with your kids? or buying these games for your kids? Seriously, the problem here is the parenting and not the game itself.Edited by moocowman - 9/13/13 at 12:14pm
