They dont belong anywhere near a high end PC

it looked like to me, and i could be wrong. but the OP was asking if it would get the job done, or if there was a cheaper option. Which leaves me to believe he was not looking for top of the PSU, i would guess to save a couple hundred bucks because that's what it's gonna cost. Personally i think the CX does fine, nice warranty and i seriously doubt it will fry anything.

You call 2.34% Voltage Regulation on the 12v good?

And 59.1 mV on the 12v rail at 110%?

i call them a good deal that gets the job done. Unless you are pushing the thing to the max. what's the problem? they get good ratings and reviews. i use one, i also had high end PSU that blew out in a year. unless antec's are garbage.

Guysguysssss when it comes to the PSU, I want something I will get "100% satisfaction", I worded it badly. What I want is something I won't have to worry about, reliability wise. That's why I was looking at Corsair in a first place.

Looking at the inside of that PSU on the prev page, I won't buy it even if it's good. It does look very "cheap".
At what wattage should I be aiming at for my system with a potential SLI in the future? price range I guess is £100-£150

Edit: Will find that PSU thread coz I remember reading it before and seemed detailed enough. But do I need to worry about Haswell PSU compatibility?

Only if you want to use the C6 and C7 sleep states otherwise no you dont need compatibility

if you want something good but cheap get a XFX Core Edition 750 watts

The new Antec High Current Pro Platinum blows everything Seasonic/Corsair has away by miles

This is NOT high end i see lots of cheap parts in there like lots of CapXon´s

No one said it was high end, but just because it is high end does not mean it is crap. I am using the CX line on a number of gaming rigs with zero issues. THAT is the point I was making.

Well if you like CapXon´s in your PSU thats up to you

Me i call them CrapXon becasue they are crap

And i never said the CX was crap i called it cheap basic and not very well made becasue of the Crapxon´s

Again the XFX Core Edition is not that much more and its a better PSU
