Hi guys, just wanting some help on my first build and i'm not sure what motherboard to go with. Here is my build http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/ I already have a motherboard picked out but if any of you know a cheaper board that is good and solid please let me know. I do not plan on doing any overclocking.

the Asus m5a99x is $105 after rebate... or $95 open box buy. That's what I've used for several builds recently.

there's also the m5a99FX for $125 which more directly compares to the gigabyte you listed.

the only difference is the 99x has 16x single GPU or 8x/8x for dual GPUS.... the 99fx has 16x/16x dual GPUs...

However, gtx660s in SLI (if you add one down the road) wont notice any difference between 8x/8x or 16x/16x.
also your power supply isn't enough for SLI really, so you might want to bump that up a bit if SLI is a future option as GPU prices fall.

hope that helps!

Yeah man that helps a lot. I don't plan on getting a second graphics card so i will probably go with the 99x. Also, I heard a rumor that some motherboards have wifi adapters built in? Just wanted to know if that was a myth, and if it is true is the connection any good?
