Gamer/overclocker looking to change to an intel machine, advice

I have been an amd fan for years, I'm Changing to an intel platform...

I like spending my weekends and other time seeing what limits I can push my pc, and I game (mostly mmo).

Intel has caught my attention lately

So I am changing but is it worth it to get a 4770k or will I be alright getting the i5 4670k?

I've seen mixed answers. I currently have an AMD platform running a 1090T, this system will be set aside and used as extra in case my new components fail.

So, opinions on if the extra money is worth it for the 4770k bc I overclock, or stick with an i5 for less money?

only thing 4770k has over the 4670k is hyperthreading. they both overclock about the same. if you are just gaming, get the i5
