Could I fix my fried 470

Thread Starter
I have been running my PNY470 on full water cooling for around 2 years and recently my computer crashed and smoke poured out the back. After pulling the water block off I was greeted with this

Burnt Vregs yum (I think?)

I pretty much gave up in it and almost binned it as although PNY says it has a "Lifetime Limited Warranty" getting that after being the second owner would be impossible. Before I binned it I was wondering is it at all possible to replace the fried part. I dont care if i **** it up because its destined for the bin anyways just seing if anyone has tried or succeeded in saving a card like this

If you have some basic soldering skills you could try to replace the fried part with a new one, it looks like a choke, but I could very well be wrong. If you find the proper part you could de-solder the burnt one and solder in a new one.

I have done a decent amount of soldering and am pretty confident with it so I might give it a try. Finding the part to replace it now is abit tricky
