My previous Windows Phone preformed just as well on its 2nd year as it did when it was brand new....
The only real benefit of android for ME has been the endless options of hardware to choose from and "swipe" typing or whatever is called. Drawing out my texts is actually fun and more productive
Well lets see...you bought a phone that gets refreshed yearly like clockwork. Samsung UI has changed minimally since the original galaxy s. Did you really think they designed that phone to be the best droid ever? No, they built it to sell in the millions, with a simplistic UI so iPhone users can jump ship with ease. I've never liked samsung phones. I owned a galaxy S, although I had to flash vanilla android on there as soon as I got home. Their UI has always been years behind the competition, or even stock android. Again, they're going for simplicity. Give an iPhone user a HTC One and just look how confused they will be initially.
And the reason samsung phones sell in the millions is because they had a plan from the very beginning, to target apple, keep things as simple as possible. Also it helps to have massive amounts of cash for publicity. No one can deny that samsung, pretty much by themselves helped android eat into iPhone sales.
I'm not saying buy a flagship android and you'll never have problems, what I'm saying is buy smart.
A phone that gets refreshed yearly probably is not going to be built like a nokia, get what I'm saying?
Yeah it's great that your previous WP had no problems, but then again a Toyota Corolla is pretty damn reliable too. Hardly makes it better than some of the other choices out there.
EDIT: Just wanted to say, some people have reported that CPU-Z on droids can degrade performance...so uninstall it. I mean, you can google to find out what chips are in your phone, why do you need CPU-Z? All it does is takes up resources. Another reason people prefer vanilla android. What you're using is android, but after it's been fiddled by the people at samsung.Edited by Sylon - 9/13/13 at 8:24pm
