will my board support AM3+ chips

im confused with all this am3+ crap because I thought all AM3s were the same

this is my board :
http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M4A785TDV_EVO/

will it support an FX-8320?
thanks

Most likely not. The only way it'd support an AM3+ chip is if ASUS released a BIOS update. Even then, the chipset on that board would make upgrading to an FX chip almost pointless.

You'd be looking at the Phenom II series for the high end, that's about it.

AMD Phenom II X4 925
AMD Phenom II X4 945
AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition
AMD Phenom II X4 980 Black Edition

I think these will also work:

AMD Phenom II X6 1055T
AMD Phenom II X6 1090T
