Any help/advices? I don't understand.

Hello everyone!

I'm running an i5 2500k @4.5GHz with 1.365VCORE and about 1.352 on load. My temperatures rarely go over 78 when I prime it, sometimes in the very very end of the blend test it goes at 82-83 but then comes back under 80. I can run the prime for 2-3 hours (I was doing other stuff but staying beside just to check it out) and I pass the entire tests and stuff. Went to bed last night and started it (it's not the first time this issue happens and I just realised I should ask you guys what you think) and when I came back this morning, black screen, no display (monitor can't find any source). The computer is still running tho, I can hear it.

Any thoughts? Could it be a thermal shutdown ? (I've never seen an actual one so I'm just throwing this idea out in the wild)

Thanx a lot ! I'm really clueless atm wha-smiley.png

could be an issue with video card but sounds more like an issue with the sleep function,
my keyboard and mouse don't seem to wake my PC from sleep... only way I can wake it is with power button and at first, it would just wake up and shutdown until I changed it to "ask me" under power options. could be a flaw with MSI boards or maybe the keyboard mouse combo... IDK

you can try disabling the sleep and/or hibernate functions and see if that helps, if not then I'd look at video card.

looks like a program called readyboot (ready boost?) is the problem. Try removing that prog. and see if that helps. I've had trouble with the MSI fast boot program.

well ive primed it yesterday it crashed after 5 hours with a bsod.

downclocked to 4.4ghz lowered voltage nad it juts succesfully passed the test! primed 75 degrees average max but at the end end of the tests id hit 84 for like 1 minute not even then tests would restart at 1 and come back to 70 ad then raising.

Damn overclocks, my chip is average i guess lmao.
