[build] EKGA STH-10 : A 900D Rebuild - Page 26

OK, thanks to some advice from the watercooling photo thread I have come to a compromise.

Before

After

I really wanted to just track it down the back of the case, but the mobo heat pipe was in the way of letting that happen, so we came up with this instead. @ some point in the future i'll be putting in a second loop for VRM, south bridge, & ram, which will be piped with acrylic, & run off of the 360 in the front.

Perhaps you could plug the cables in with the rad not installed? That's what I have to do in my Corsair 350D.

In the last picture i think you not get the memory in the right Slots.
I am curious what kind of temps you will have on the multiple gpu's through casual/work/folding/benching/gaming use on that rig.
Please let me know if you remember this in the future biggrin.gif

I'll be linking a bit of performance once i'm finally finished. Iv'e ran into a few small but massively time consuming issues to work out.

I noticed that as well... As in NO MEMORY IN NO SLOTS... Now i'm smashing my face against the case trying to re-route the tubing... again... I even took the silly red tip off of the trident-X, but still re-routing is a PITA. Mostly because Norprene can barely bend. I may end up ripping all of the norprene out & finding a different black tube.

Yupp, was the only option. Next case is going to be a full blown caselabs master piece.

OK, final tube routing for real this time. No, there is nothing I can do to fix the GPU to radiator run due to the ram/mobo/radiator proximity.

That's exactly how I routed my loop the first time.

Looks great thumb.gif

Thanks... So, I don't have the time to teach my self how to sleeve cables this time around. So, i'm looking @ picking up extensions... I'm noticing that allot of them are not fully pinned. Example: The 8 pin head that would plug into the PSU for the PCI-E cables only have 7 out of 8 pins on the extensions, where in comparison the EVGA cables have all 8 pins... =\ I may just have to go with the stock red cables for now.

Looking good.

Was wondering if there wasn't anything you could do to straighten out that tube at the front a little bit, like add another 90 deg fitting like so? It just looks a little out of place like it is compared to the rest of the tube routing, to my eyes at least.

Been thinking about it. I'm literally down to one last BP stubby 90 degree fitting. Might tinker with it tonight, but since it's going to be hidden by the side panel I may just leave it as is. You are not the first person to suggest tweaking it.

I re-did the gpu>rad>cpu> lines again tonight, just wasn't quite right.
