Low DPI+high sens or high DPI+low sense? - Page 2

Check usefull dpi in this thread: overview of mouse technology

Also I had to chuckle at "a high speed game like BF3 requires high sens".

First: BF3 isn't really a fast game, arena shooters like quake are fast because of strafe jumping and such where gunfights are fought out at high speeds. In BF3 targets are rather stationary most of the time. Second: even if it was fast you would not need a high sens. For reference: I play BF3 at 60cm/360.

For me,fast turning is better.I do a 360 in 2 inch=5,08cm. It's perfect and i can get long range targets with no problems.I've been using 3.5cm for 360 for a very long time,5cm is actually more than i was used to and my stats are still not bad.
For example,lvlcap(famous,pro BF3 player) uses 4.5inch for 360=11.5cm.

Such sensitivity is too high to have good aim. You think that you have no problems with long range targets =/= aiming instantly at head at long range/tracking enemy good. BF3 stats dont show how good your aim is.
If you cant turn fast with lower sensitivity then probably your not moving hand enough or have high input lag if it feels slow.
Using lower sensitivity will be beneficial.
lvlcap doesnt has mediocre aim.

I'm just too lazy to move my mouse that much. And i've been playing on a very high sensitivity my entire life.I'm used to it by now.

lvlcap really has mediocre aim. I'm not saying you need to go low sens, but it is not needed in general. Also most people with high sens tend to use higher magnification scopes that reduce sens a lot.
