Can't get Spinpoint F3 anymore, alternatives?

Thread Starter
I'm buying another HDD and would really like it be a second F3 in my rig but it seems that the stores (at least in my country) don't have them anymore. The only Samsung HDD's available are the 5400rpm M8.

Is there no newer model or should I say "successor" to the Samsung F3?

Which HDD do you recommend? WD Black?

I myself have been running a 1TB Caviar Black for the last 2 years and it has performed very well. A Caviar Blue is a slightly cheaper alternative but let's just say once you go black you never go back.

I Second this, I've bough around 9 HDDs since 9/2002 most are Western Digital and all of them are still working. Current one is 1002FAEX, about 2 years old and I'm about to buy another one because this one is almost full. I ran F@H 24/7 for 6 months on this drive.

Here is a stats screen captured today:

Keep in mind:

It peaks at 51°C under load (My Case lacks proper airflow).
It's loud during intense read/write
Started to slow down when free space became less than 5%
Most reliable I've ever seen (After RAID solutions).

Hope this helps.
