Is a 5 ms response time bad for gaming?

I am considering getting a monitor which has a 5ms response time. At that level would it cause any problems with gaming? And would the difference between it and a 2ms monitor be appreciable?

I'm going to say it varies from person to person, but most likely you won't notice it.

The difference between a 5ms monitor, and a 2ms monitor, is essentially pure marketing and you wouldn't be able to notice it at all.

I'm playing competitive on a 14ms IPS monitor. I'm perfectly fine.
