Samsung Magician Over Provisioning doesn´t work?

Thread Starter
I updated to the latest Magician 4.2.1, and then i wanted to Reset my Over Provisioning, or well, change the size of it.

And well it doesn´t work. I loads and after a while i get "Please check that the drive is not being used by another process", which makes me unable to use it.
I don´t think i have any process that´s using it. Or well of course some is using the drive, as it´s the System Driver, but i can go into Disk Manager and shrink it if i want, but Samsung Magician doesn´t work, so i am a bit confused.

Does anyone else have this problem with 4.2.1?

My SSD is 840 Pro

How did you try to change the size of the OP space? Did you first click the Clear OP button, and then configure the OP amount, and then click Set OP?

That is how it must be done, and I don't really see that at all in your description. I don't understand, " I loads and after a while i get "Please check..."

I can´t even Clear it, so i did it manually by extending the space through Disk Manager in Windows.

It just loads, and then i get that error, that another process may be using the drive, so i can´t even choose and do anything with OP at all.
Never happened before, i just clicked and could change and clear/set OP when i wanted, now i can´t as it doesn´t seem to get hold of the drive or something.

Everything else works though, it´s just the OP that doesn´t work.

Same. I can't change it either, even on a fresh install of Windows.

Ah good that i am not alone. But well my "solution" was to shrink the drive with Disk Manager.
So i simply shrunk it to what Samsung Magician wanted, about 47gb. So now it says i got that OP, but i still can´t use Magician for anything there though, must be a bug.

That's effectively identical to what Magician OP does anyway. I do it when I'm installing Windows.
