Hey friends, i would like to announce i just finish my system smile.gif
Case: SilverStone Raven RV03
CPU: Intel Core i7-3770K Ivy Bridge 3.5GHz
PSU:SeaSonic G Series 550-Watt ATX12V/EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply SSR-550RM
GPU: EVGA 02G-P4-3658-KR GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST SuperClocked 2GB is just for now but in a month or two i'm going to upgrade better graphic card.
Feature upgrade is : ASUS GTX780-DC2OC-3GD5 GeForce GTX 780 3GB Just single card.
Ram: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory (CML16GX3M2A1600C10) and I may upgrade to 32GB biggrin.gif
SSD: Samsung Electronics 840 Pro Series 2.5-Inch 256 GB SATA 6GB/s Solid State Drive MZ-7PD256BW
Heatsink: Still using stock intel heatsink but future update is Thermalright Silver Arrow SB-E Extreme or Noctua 6 Dual Heatpipe with 140mm/120mm Dual SSO Bearing Fans CPU Cooler NH-D14 still not decided yet.. but either one will the the good choice.

Planing to buy HD: One Internal and One external Western Digital Caviar Black 2 TB SATA III 7200 RPM 64 MB Cache Bulk/OEM Internal Desktop Hard Drive - WD2002FAEX for the future use in video editing storage. If any other option for hard drive feel free to voice your opinion biggrin.gif

So far it's took me 2 months to complete this system, it's my first system ever build.. and came to lots of struggle even until now. The only thing i did in the bios is... change the the ram setting from 1333mhz to 1600mhz

What else do i need to do? I'm having difficulty to understand what's going on with my system. First problem i ran into is one of the bottom fan from RV03 running at 700-800 RPM and next to it the right fan, top, fan and cpu fan running at 1200rpm? It's at high setting but when i turn down to low setting that fan turn off. another weird thing about fan is.. number 4 fan sometime show the rpm and some time blink to 0 than back to the rpm showing ?? when the number two fan always show the rpm with out any blinking

Other thing about fan is my cpu.. everytime i turn on, my cpu fan running really really fast for 3 second and than run normal again??
I notice my CPU at 4GHZ in the BIOS, i haven't done any overclock or change any setting how come it's running at 4GHZ?

what i did is i try use on prime95.. but in 10 min my system running at 100% load and 95-100 degree temp, i understand it's a factory heatsink but maybe other have different temp or i did something wrong.. lol I only did 10 mins test got it up too high i'm getting scare so i have to turn of the prime95 no more testing for now.

Yes, I'm a clueless guy don't know what i'm doing. I'm learning as i go and i'm hopping to see someone able to help me to get this system running stable. What else do i have to do? Yes i have download the BIOS, GPU, Sound card, wireless card driver and installed.

Will update picture when i can.. for some reason my iphone not recognized on my laptop.

Thanks in advance!!

when i check my CPU Voltage it's at 1.188 than check different page it's 1.20 and check again it's 1.188 It's jump all over the place lol Running at 3.9ghz which really good, is that means when oc to 4.5 the v going to be around 1.30 or less maybe lol i'm just assuming and i just don't get wh... when refreshing it it's jump up and down

about fan control as in these two image you guy can see the 1st fan only goes to 600 rpm half speed as it should , 1st and 2nd is the 2 of bottom fans "pull air in?". i already set it to high on the button of the case when i set it to low than it turn off. On The 2nd fan when i set to low it's goes to 600rpm so that's normal.
Please look at the 3rd fan which it's the top fan for exhaust "air goes out?" it's run at 1300rpm In next picture i'll show you is it's showing 0 rpm

it's like half of a second it's show 0rpm and another half sec it's show 1300rpm

what else can i do with this system? any change should i make in the mobo bios setting? other than fan and cpu what esle can i do to make it better. right now i can't over clock cause i'm using stock heatsink which will kill the cpu for sure. but not going be long from getting it. so any comment or suggestion on the setting i would love to know thanks all.

I don't know much about what's going on with your system fans, but check over your connections if they're plugged directly into the power supply. As for your CPU fan spinning fast when the computer boots up, that is normal, once the BIOS loads it begins regulating the fan speed (lower RPM since the CPU isn't hot). Your CPU is running at 4.0 GHz because that is the turbo frequency of your processor. Modern processors have a turbo speed that they run at if they have optimal temperature/voltage conditions to do so... it is normal for it to be enabled by default. I believe you may have mounted the CPU fan wrong, although the stock fan is bad, those temperatures are very high. I don't suggest running Prime95 to test your temperatures until you figure out what is wrong, 105C is the thermal maximum for the processor and very high temperatures, even temporarily may degrade/damage your CPU.

Thank you, Yes i stop at 95-100 2 min after it reach that point. For sure no more prime95 for now until i purchase better heat sink, right now my idel temp is at 29-33C which looks normal, i'll try get new heatsink in two weeks. all fans i'm connecting to the mobo include cpu fan. thanks for reply.

Thanks reminding me that. Base on these 3 link i reads... it's made me confuse on the setup

My main for this computer is video editing and rendering is a pain in the ass. what you think after reading those 3 articles?

Other thoughts are .. Due to this rig mainly about video editing, In terms of editing there are programs that benefit a little bit more with CUDA then Opencl (what amd uses). i maybe wrong please correct me.. there's something new to learn everyday biggrin.gif. I'm not sure how it's going to work with SLI or CF for 2xHD 7950 in video editing vs singe card ASUS GTX780-DC2OC-3GD5 GeForce GTX 780 3GB feel free to comments below.

and please help me the problem at the moment that i'm having lol..
