Metro Last Night on XFX ATI Radeon HD6770

Hey guys,

Trying to play Metro Last night on my Radeon HD6770. PC specs are:
CPU: Intel Core i7-3930K @ 3.20GHz
OS: Windows 7 64bit
RAM: 16GB 1300

The game default to 1920x1080 on my 27 in monitor. Video quality is set to low.

It starts well, but as I reach more and more checkpoints, the FPS seems to drop and eventually becomes really bothersome and is basically a slideshow.

Correct my ignorance if I'm wrong, but I think the specs are good enough to play that game without any trouble.

My Catalyst CC verstion is 13.4. Driver versions is 12.104.0.0

I went to AMD's site for an updated driver, but the one they offer is the same version as mine. The only other one they have is in Beta and I don't wanna risk installing it.

I'm a real rookie in the graphics card performance sphere and would really appreciate any help.

Thanks.

P.S. Incidentally, FarCry 3 plays like a charm on this machine.

Solution: disable PhysX in the game options. Works perfect.

Well, I think now that I have figure out what the heck was slowing everything down I'm pretty sure I can bump up the video quality.
