now i want to get back to oc my 775 rigs , it was much more fun when you could tweak a lot of parameters to win a few mhz , now you just hit a damn voltage wall depending on the sillicon lottery and all the llc and vrm frequenzy gimmicks seems to have next to no effect ,.....

please tell me you didnt mismatch the fans on your magicool radiator eek.gif . IIRC, if you put it together like the following

magicool 360x30mm ,3 Aplenfohn wingboost 120 pwm white edition + 3 noctua nf-12

[wingboost][wingboost][windboost]
Magicool 360
[noctua nf ][noctua nf ][noctua nf ] < you could be risking damage to whichever set of fans is weaker than the other (which is why it doesnt matter which side which fans are on)

i have remove them since because it just useless on a 30mm rad with some good fan , and wingboost are the best by far for me. but no i didn't risk anything because i had the push fans on the controller set to low speed while the top one where a little faster . plus the push fan has a 5mm shroud while the pull has not so in the end the cfm of both fans were really close .

i was thinking about something for radiators , i already have 2 360 rad and i plan to buy one more to fill my bench .

a 60 mm 360 rad is just 30 $ less then a nova 40 mm 1080 rad , but i was thinking if i plug my 2 first radiator in parallel , water will flow slower in both and thus be cooled better then flowing faster in a nova.

Then i go back to my swiftech rad with the pump which has 3 entry so i can easily plug the 2 parrallel rad output into the last.

i think i should get better usage of my rad if both get the hot water with slow flow insteed of one being hit by hot water and the 2 other having no heat to dissipate

what do you think about that ?

The difference will be mainly in flow. It's the same as when you do a parallel loop for GPUs. Actually, I think it's a great idea, since you won't loose flow caused by extra rads, but I don't know if your rads are too restrictive or not (e.g. if you'll see a difference or not).

I've got the same Swiftech kit, and while the MCR320-QP is not as restrictive as a HWLabs GTX, I don't know if it has the same properties, since the Swiftech H220 is based on the same rad but it's incredibly restrictive for a rad.

By the way, are you going to keep the pump? I'm planning on using a different, external, pump (or using a different rad and pump altogether) because above 3000rpm it's noisy. The noise comes from the reservoir, actually. What's been your experience?

Oh, and I think you can buy feet for the phobya stand. I was planning to buy it to put my rads in that stand, but I think it's overpriced, and I'm now considering getting a new case or modding mine.

i m gonna keep the pump until it dies, mine does less noise then my corsair sp at 7V and less then my fridge too so i m not bothered. and i can't find any 35x , only a few double everywhere out of stock. and a 655 with top is the same price ,.....

i think the fact that the pump is gravity feed trough the swiftech rad make the restrictive part not as important then a normal rad.

but i was hoping for better use of the rad because bigger temp delta and half the flow trough the rad. but i will see.

the feet are for the nova alone , this already stand on itself well. it's not cheap but it s sturdy and well made. and it will keep my legs warm during winter smile.gif and i find it messy with everything in the computer , it s a pain to move component etc etc

i will have to make extra feet myself at work because i dont think their is enough space for the pump and passive rad at the bottom for the h20 360 , it need to be lifted about 3 cm

i dont really need this extra rad , it s just to be able to keep everything under 60 cpu and 50 gpu after long gamming session with the fan at 5v , atm i have to put them a 7v to keep that after 2 hours of bf4 and it's a bit noisy.
but i plan to add 2 tap to drain it , and maibe 2 more to isolate the comp from the rad stand if i can find some that are not too restrictive. Does all the quick release seal the liquid in when unplugged or not at all ?
