They are overkill you dont need that much

Are you trying to spend more then you have to?

And why do you want to buy from tigerdirect whats wrong with amazon or newegg?

Because, I am planning on expanding my system in the future and am gearing towards that. I went on Tiger Direct straight from XFX. When i do decide to get a better power supply I will go to whoever is cheapest. And not a fan of Amazon.

Fair enough

And you do know that XFX does not make the units they sell right?

Recommended by who?

The XFX Core Edition is a Seasoinc S12II

The Pro or Black are Seasonic KM3

But buying a XFX unit based on a KM3 would be stupid if the Cooler Master V850 is cheaper its based on the same KM3 platform

203$ form tigerdirect is a rippoff when its 175$ on newegg and 140$ on Amazon
